Review of Keeping the Faith (2000) by Leanne K — 24 Mar 2009
Entertaining and amusing.. makes interfaith friendship and mutual appreciation seem very normal.. religion is shown as a normal part of ordinary life.. perhaps too ordinary.. it shows religion as something which needs to be entertaining and popular more than anything else.
. the film comes alive when Elfman's character arrives.. but I didnt believe the two who fall in love would have fallen in love.. and the ending is sadly predictable.
