Review of Keeping the Faith (2000) by Am Q — 07 Jun 2009
For what it is, I have to give this 5 out of 5 stars! It's always one of my favorite romantic/comedies of sorts & the three main characters play so wonderfully off of each other. I don't know why we don't see Jenna Elfman in more films, because she's truly a delight to watch on screen! She's quirky, witty, charming, cute, and has an all-around infectious personality.
Love her in this! Edward Norton is always one of my favorite actors and it's fun to see him pull off this lighter, humorous role, as we usually see him in fairly serious dramas and such. And Stiller, of course, always hands out plenty of laughs.
A rabbi and a priest! How perfect! The friendship between the three is adorable and I can't help but feel sorry for Norton's character when he realizes his best friend got the girl. But hey, he is a priest, after all! :) And I love the scene with the three of them when Stiller's character is about to go out on a date and Elfman is asking question and Norton is putting on his "Rain Man" act.
Makes me laugh everytime! An overall feel good movie with a fun cast with great chemistry!
