Review of Keeping Mum (2005) by Melanie Y — 27 Oct 2007
Brilliant - English humour at it's best. When faced with a difficult situation, say for example a dog turd on your shoe or a dead body that needs to be hidden, first step is to pop the kettle on! Maggie Smith steals the show as a well-meaning mass murderer, not unlike Mary Poppins with a darker thought process.
I'm very glad we saw more stand up from Rowen, rather than the Bean version of falling down, I've always thought it was such a waste as he has perfect delivery.
