Review of Keeping Mum (2005) by Starla S — 06 Jan 2009
My mum & I were at a video rental place, and were arguing over what to watch. By a stroke of luck (or should I say "grace"?) I happened to pick up a random movie and we both agreed to watch it whatever it was.
"Keeping Mum" happened to be a great and pleasant suprise that both of us enjoyed a lot. Though neither of us had heard of it, and my mum was a bit skeptical- this movie kept us guessing till the near end about what was to happen next and was a great break from the cliches we often see in movies. The comedy in the movie, although a bit dark, ended up waking the house with the laughter it caused... though admittedly it took a while for the comedy to really come into play. I recommend this movie to anyone who can appreciate a little macabre humor, and even if not- still it is worth a try.
