Review of Katy Perry: Part of Me (2012) by Alexander N — 06 Jul 2012
It was a really great movie. It showed what kind of person Katy really is, and what she really is is a very kind, devoted, and inspirational young woman. I had gone to a Katy Perry concert in the past and loved it, and this film just brought all of those feelings of joy and excitement back, it was great.
I had a blast listening to all of her great songs and learning more about her personal life, more specifically about Russell. It really touches the heart strings when she gives her honest opinion about the situation and just seeing her cry about it but trying to still stay strong, makes you want to just go right up on the screen and give her a big hug.
The film also shows how truly devoted she is towards her fans. She put aside just about everything for them and I really admire that about her. Her positivity reaches out and gives those who may not have much self confidence or hope something to actually smile about, and to remind them that anything is possible, all you have to do is follow your dreams.
I know it sounds cheesy but she really is an example of this. Her fairy tale has become a reality.
