Review of Katy Perry: Part of Me (2012) by Danniela S — 07 Nov 2012
#1: It felt more like a commercial than a documentary. Read her wikipedia page and you'll get the same info. without having to wade through the Dr. Suess meets Candyland concert experience. #2: My kids begged to watch it.
I found it a little too thematic for them as it delves into her relationship & divorce with Russell Brand. We had to fast-forward a few times due to a few things I wasn't comfortable with them dealing with.
Nothing too serious, but it probably should have been PG-13. It def. doesn't 100% fit the 'family-friendly' label that Redbox gives it.
