Review of Katt Williams: American Hustle (2007) by Shalaundra T — 03 Feb 2008
I love Katt Williams especially when he writes his own material. His posse of fellow comedians on a road trip across America had me laughing through the whole trip. I wasn't sure if this was a concert movie because there was a plot developing before there was any mention of a live show.
Still the whole thing was very humorous. There were some funny movie spoofs. Also, the cameos were great. Some were musical while others were written into a scene. My favortie cameo had to have been Jeremy Piven.
I saw this on Comedy Central with all the bad words bleeped and I stilll laughed until I cried. If you have a problem with the F-bomb, you may want to pass on this. If you don't mind some dirty words then grab a seat on the couch.
Besides Kat, my favorite part of the posse would have to be Luenell. I loved her in "Borat" but her stand-up was equally adorable. Luenell had a funny line that I added as my new quote but it was such a long run-on sentence that I had to put it below the line for quotes.
A new addition to my "Classic Stoner Flix' list. So light one up and pass it to me.
