Kate & Leopold is a film about a man named Stuart Besser (Schreiber) and how he has figured out the idea of time travel. Due to his recent discovery, he goes back to the 19th century and accidentally brings back a man named Leopold(Jackman). Leopold is now trying to adapt in current time until Stuart can return him to his time. Along the way, Leopold also falls in love with a woman named Kate(Ryan). Only problem is, they're not exactly from the same time....

Well, the premise of the film is quite fun but sadly falls short due to some really big plot holes and as most of you know, a very odd and illogical way of time travel. The things that bothered me most about this film is that within a week, Leopold has already adapted and some how has found some currency. It was just really aggravating seeing Leopold adapt too fast. Another thing the draws the viewer away is the amount of times you have to ask yourself about the rules of time travel.

The film seems to forget all things about time travel. But besides those 2 main downfalls, the film is still funny and everything you'd like in a RomCom. The script still had it's humorous parts. Although the story may be predictable, ask yourself what RomComs aren't? The cinematography was also quite the view but to be honest, there are very few memorable scenes.

The acting in this film was great from the 2 leads. Jackman truly does prove to be sincere and that of a gentlemen. Stealing pretty much every scene that he is in. Meg Ryan, makes the film a blast. Her acting has you buying the angry and grumpy woman character but with a dash of Meg Ryan's charm! It's not a shock Ryan does great though, who can say that Meg Ryan is a bad RomCom actor? She pretty much runs that genre!

Overall, the film is very hard to chew on due to plot holes and illogical time travel. But if those factors are overlooked, the film can still be a mildly enjoyable watch. What helps the movie is the interactions between Jackman and Ryan and mainly how well Jackman performs. Although not exactly a movie I'd recommend to everyone, the film still does manage to entertain me. So to all RomCom watchers, this is still a decent watch but it shouldn't be a priority.

Wade-O-Meter: 55%--->60%.
