It is somewhat unbelievable that an 18th century duke, would fall in love with a modern day workaholic woman, who is a bit of a. . . (rhymes with witch). Still, if you can get past wanting to smack Meg Ryan across the face during most of the first half of the movie, it's not all that bad.
Hugh Jackman is charming to watch.
