Review of Kate & Leopold (2001) by Mariano C — 12 Jan 2009
A modern fairytale of a 19th century prince who accidently travels in time to the 21st century and meets a woman who was destined to become his princess. Leopold's good English manners throw light on how women were respected back in the 19th century even by the simple gesture of standing when a woman leaves a dinner table.
Kate had all the rights to "want more of this"; more of good manners and simplicity brought to our hectic modern life.
