YES it's stupid and cheesy and lame... but I can't help but like movies that involve time travelling in any way. I loved Liev Schreiber and Breckin Meyer in this. Hugh Jackman and Meg Ryan... not so much.
But who cares about them, they're only the main characters. It's not so bad that you wouldn't watch it if you felt like watching a cheesy rom-com.
