Review of Kansas City Confidential (1952) by John M — 29 May 2017
A cool cross/double cross crime thriller. Again a bit slow, but I really liked it. It reminded me a little of the scheme the joker uses in the Dark Knight (at the beginning). I want to know what $300K in 1952 terms of $ in 2017.
The only thing that doesn't hold up where the special effects (fight scenes). I liked the twist at the end though it seemed like an unrealistic stretch.
