Review of Kanikôsen (2009) by Ray T — 14 Jun 2010
Essentially a Marxist tract with a dated story line as exploited workers on a crab fishing and processing boat are trapped in an oppressive work environment and learn to rise up against their masters. At times comedic and other times brutal it was unable to transcend a simplistic premise.
But it did make me hungry for crab.
