I rented this for my kids (ages 10 and 7), pure and simply. I am familiar with Jerry O'Connell from Sliders and tv and have no problem with his acting, so I watched it too. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this film.
The characters are easy to like and care about, and though the plot is predictable, the story still keeps your interest. The kangaroo is amazing!
