I really enjoyed Kamikaze Girls. It's based on the manga of the the same title. I found the movie to be bright and simply hilarious. I like it better than the manga. If you are an otaku and you know anime, the movie has the humor and action of the Japanese animation.
Even if you don't give a care about cartoons still watch it. Not only is it funny but has a good message about friendship.
