Shimotsuma Monogatari - real title - Kinda like 'Mean Girls' in Japanese on mopeds in Japan. This very funny and twisting tale of friendship, self-truth, and finding yourself is very well done.
Momoko is a rococo doll who likes really frilly things (blech!) while Ichigo is a rebel who shops at the Japanese equivalent of Walmart. This unlikely pair have adventures that serve them well, and would be the envy of any teenage girl.
If you're looking for a happy ending with a lesson, move on. If you're looking to be entertained in Japanese subtitles, grab this and remember to ride on!
