Review of Kalifornia (1993) by Corey N — 12 Feb 2010

This was a good movie. It stars Brad Pitt, David Duchovny, Juliette Lewis and Michelle Forbes. Duchovny plays a author who wants to go on a road trip and write a book on mass murder land marks. So he takes a couple with him on the trip to help pay for expenses.

Little does he know that he has a bonafide killer with him. Duchovny is great in his role. But it was Brad Pitt's performance that made this movie. As the redneck serial killer he was excellent. One of his early roles before he was popular.

Also a good performance from Juliette Lewis in this. The story is solid and kept me interested through out the film. I enjoyed it. Well worth a watch.
