Review of Kalifornia (1993) by Cameron J — 18 Jan 2011
Original, chilling and well-written with solid characters with excellent chemistry and very good performances, especially from Pitt. However, during the development, the two stories have some bumpy transitions between each other and bad choices in scene cut-off.
As for the body, it is jumped right into with very little development. Finally, the final acts also have forced character turns, abrupt events and it ultimately changes the mood of the film a touch too effectively.
Faults aside, "Kalifornia" is still a clever film that will keep you both engaged and before long, on the edge of your seat.
