A stunning film with a tremendous epic feel, brilliant human drama - including great scenes about the pain of loss and loneliness, as well as an incredible closing scene about the terror of war - and beautiful cinematography.
This is an incredible epic, with passion packed into every minute. A brilliant film from Kurosawa.
