Review of Kagemusha (1980) by Frank G — 20 Sep 2007
Akira Kurosawa is one of Japans greatest ever directors and this one of his finaly films is the closest anyone has gotten to the the perfect feudal japanese film. With a thick plot in which you slowly get to know and love every member of the generals cabinet.
With an hour of Joy and victory followed by an hour of sadness and grief it is one of the finest pieces of Japnese cinema.
