Review of Kagemusha (1980) by Bu V — 30 Oct 2007
Kurosawa, a great film maker. Am a great fan of Kurosawa's. Made in the 80s but its relevance won't ever fade. A film on honor, dignity and change - some parallelisms with the Movie "Dave", finding a man who might resemble their leader, who dies unexpectedly.
The "new" leader is taught all the ropes in ruling...Artistic and symbolic narrative, lead actor balances heavy drama and great humor. Poignant film that may move you to tears.
