Review of K-PAX (2001) by Mark V — 14 May 2011
Intelligent and thought-provoking, with superb performances from Kevin Spacey and Jeff Bridges, I personally believe K-PAX to be a criminally underrated film. Its open-endedness and ambiguity allow the viewer to journey wherever it is they want to go, ultimately leaving the fate of the main protagonist in their hands.
If your idea of a good movie requires a paint-by-numbers plot that you can shut your brain off to, steer clear of this film. On the other hand, if you prefer a deep, profound film that will keep you thinking long after the end credits have rolled, then I firmly believe that you will love K-PAX.
