Review of K-19: The Widowmaker (2002) by Hannah M — 05 Jun 2006
Nuclear sub movies have always scared me, so of course I was jumping at the bit to see this one. :-) It wasn't as interesting as I thought it would be somehow, though. Harrison Ford did a great job as the commander (as he always does) and the rest of the cast was unmemorable but not distracting.
So what failed to grab me on this movie? I have no idea. It should have struck me as being much better than it did. Maybe another viewing would heighten my view of it... I don't know.
