Review of K-19: The Widowmaker (2002) by Robert V — 01 Sep 2007
Historically accurate film based around the real hotel class submarine K-19. Although Liam Neeson may not have been the best choice for his role, he nonetheless does an admirable job. This is a harrowing and disturbing look at what happens when corners are cut, when politics overrules common sense and above all, the dangers of communism and bliond faith in the system.
Sends chills down my spine whenever I watch it.
