Review of K-19: The Widowmaker (2002) by Paul C — 05 Jan 2008
Unfairly derided upon it's cinematic release, and yes Harrison Ford's acting does appear to be getting worse as the years roll by. That being said the supporting cast and powerful story (based on actual events) elevate this from the dross.
Certainly not the best submarine movie - that's 'Das Boot' hands down - but certainly qualifies as one of the worthy runners-up.
