Review of K-19: The Widowmaker (2002) by Pat D — 20 Sep 2009
A REAL thriller, for a change, instead of the hyped-up, grossly improbable, badly written, racist junk like "Taken." A true story that will make the hair on the back of your neck stand up. Set on a tragically ill-fitted out Soviet nuclear submarine -- not the ill-fated Kursk, but close enough.
Stars Liam Neeson and Harrison Ford at their best -- why don't these two get more fine scripts like this one? Get this movie. You will not be sorry.
