Review of K-19: The Widowmaker (2002) by Arsev A — 03 Nov 2009
Kathryn Bigelow is a brilliant director and she again makes a very good movie with creating a claustrophobic environment of a submarine. The mood of the crew is reflected in actor's good performances.
My only objection would be shooting this movie in English. It should have been in Russian but I also understand that Hollywood was not ready to watch a foreign language movie (hell they are still not ready).
