Review of Juvenile Liaison (1976) by Lady D — 19 Jan 2012
This film shouldn't have been banned. If anything, it should be used to portray a society which is not only dead and buried but also how we shouldn't live our lives. It's cruel, racist and spiteful. The kids are being mistreated on camera, with video proof and nothing ever came of it. One child was adamant he hadn't done what he was being accused of, while he wicked stepmother looked on with a grin. Yet the kid still got a rollicking.
It also has no purpose. The 'copper' (if you can call what he does a service) threatens these children with court, jail and a belting, yet he keeps doing just that, threatens them. There is no following through, and it makes me feel like he is a weak man with a power trip.
The head teacher is disgusting and needed to be fired on the spot, for her racist,ignorant behaviour. She is a disgrace to the human race.
