Review of Justice League: The New Frontier (2008) by Justin L — 20 Mar 2008
This was short, but well done!
True to the original story-style of DC comics (instead of today's ultra kid friendly versions), this movie gives the story of the Justice League's origin.
I was REALLY surprised at the casting - a lot more big names that one would expect. My favorite by far was Neil Patrick Harris as the Flash. He was just a great fit.
There was a strong, STRONG message that the movie at times went a little too far to reinforce. We get it, really.
But the best part for a true comic book geek is to sit back and see if you can name all the old school heroes that make cameos, but aren't directly named. Good times!
