Review of Justice League: The New Frontier (2008) by Tony H — 21 Mar 2008
Golden Age Superhero fiction at it's finest - bold and mythological but also personal and character driven.
Attention is paid to every character - they really nailed both the heroes and their interactions with each other. The cast is huge with many cameos (even the Doom Patrol have a 'blink and miss it' part) and it even made me interested in The Green Latern, who usually bores me to death.
Produced by Bruce Timm, this is some of the best work released under his name (I don't say that lightly) and an adaptation that not only doesn't disappoint but hugely satisfies.
