There is no way to explain how mind-blowingly epic it is; one just has to see it. This is like Transformers--don't worry about the plot, just let the whole experience overwhelm every last sense you possess and then mentally dominate you.
And I also like the Cthulhu mythos references. I'll probably look up the graphic novel soon, but that was one crazy film.
