Review of Justice League: The New Frontier (2008) by Diana U — 28 Apr 2008
It suffered the same problems as the graphic novel without many of the strengths. It retained the wonderful design work of Cooke and kept many of the plots but the whole main arc concerning the Center just left me entirely cold.
There were interesting questions being rasied by putting the Silver Age firmly in the McCarthy Era and instead of answering them, the world got together in order to fight a giant monster.
It just did nothing for me and left the questions raised in the first half of the movie unanswered.
