Review of Justice League: The New Frontier (2008) by Andrew E — 03 May 2008
Le sigh...100 times better than that godawful, godforsaken excuse for a movie "Death of Superman," but does not hold a candle, no, a goddam match to the glory that was Darwyn Cooke's imaginative, poignant take on the birth of the Justice League.
It felt as if I were reading of all the events that transpired in the original written story through a source like Wikipedia; completely devoid of emotional content and with minute but important details skipped for the sake of brevity.
And the liberties taken were just unforgivable. Don't bother with this one if you enjoyed the source material. You'll feel like you wasted your time.
