Review of Justice League: The New Frontier (2008) by Jason S — 09 Jul 2008
A Very faithful adaptation of the comic book. The cast, especially Sisto as Batman, MacLachlan as Superman, and NPH as Flash, were all very good and fit the parts well. It was a shame that they turned some of the book's best and most thrilling parts (such as the Loser's opening, and the whole John Wilson/John Iron sections) into footnotes more or less.
I liked how Batman was more involved with the whole battle against the Center, unlike how he was in the book (missed Green Arrow tho...). Overall, very faithful and exciting (although, it wasn't as EPIC as the comic) animated comic movie.
Probably one of the best. Can't wait to see what Timm crew will adapt next... Long Halloween maybe?
