Review of Justice League: The New Frontier (2008) by Zachary B — 13 Sep 2008
Not quite deciding whether it wants to be more adult in theme or stick to it's saturday morning roots, it kind of decides on doing both and that's a real shame.
The look of the film is jawdropping and the voices have been very well cast, but some darker and deeper themes could have done with a closer look. This should either have been a much longer film or a mini-series.
I also know it was adapted from the graphic novel but I much preferred the scene with The Flash and Captain Cold than the great big faceless villain at the end...bring on the Silver Age baddies!
