Review of Justice League: The New Frontier (2008) by Ismael S — 26 Dec 2008
I never wanted to see this movie until they lowered it to 99 cents at blockbusterso I gave it a shot. First off tihs movie is very similar to the original Ultimate Avengers Animated Movie. The plot focuses on an entity known only as The Center and its fear toward humans.
The Center wishes to destroy every human on the Earth to eliminate this fear. No other explanation for its actions are given. The movie however, does have two or three subplots that keep the movie going.
The two main subplots are focused mainly on The Flash and Martain Manhunter. The other I will keep a secret so you can watch the movie. Batman's voice really disappointed me, they should have gotten Kevin Conroy to do it (the man behind the Batman voice of the 90's cartoon).
Critics stated that this was better than Ultimate Avengers, but I disagree. One thing I don't like about D.C. is that all male characters have an extremely square chin, and the females are only different in their hairstyle.
The Animation is alittle better than something found in a Saturday morning cartoon, just a lot longer and with a few curse words in it. Not a bad movie, check it out if ou like D.C., but Ultimate Avengers The Movie is much better.
