Review of Justice League: The New Frontier (2008) by Radio N — 12 Apr 2008

I expected this to be good, but not especially great. I was floored. The re-interpretation of the story of the Justice League, set in the late 1950s, has that blend of actual storytelling maturity (not just violence and profanity) and accessibility that too many similar stories lack.

I've never read the graphic novel that this was based on, but it moved to the top of my list about five minutes into this movie.
