Review of Justice League: Doom (2012) by Leonard Anthony A — 20 Feb 2012
Just watched the PURE AWESOME of Justice League: Doom!
The six charter JLA members (Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, and Flash) along with Cyborg (as support), face off against a new Legion of Doom led by Vandal Savage (with Bane, Metallo, Cheetah, Star Sapphire, Ma'alefa'ak and Mirror Master--each of which faces off against their corresponding League nemesis).
The story, based on graphic novel JLA: Tower of Babel, showcased each of the Leaguer's main superpowers in the first act, exploited their weaknesses in the second, and, finally, joined them together in the triumphant third act. All within the span of about 1 hour and 15 minutes too.
The Leaguers are voiced by their previous voices in the Justic League Unlimited series (Kevin Conroy as Batman!), except for Superman (now voiced by Tim Daly) and Green Lantern (voiced by Emerald Knights and would-have-been-a-better-live-action-Green-Lantern Nathan Fillion).
No superhero fan should miss this.
