Review of Justice League: Doom (2012) by Rafiq U — 30 Oct 2012
As an animated movie, that I watched with a friend, it was pretty damn entertaining. It has cool moments, lots of action, and is pretty consistent with it's humor. However, the plot itself including some characters and voice actors are pretty hit and miss.
The Justice League has a pretty great cast of actors including Kevin Conroy and Nathan Fillion. The villains however, are mostly C-listers and are just plain uninteresting (aside from Bane). Especially the mastermind Vandal Savage is very obviously a Ra's Al Ghul rip-off. This is unfortunate, since it's pretty entertaining and adequately PG-13 rated.
PROS: Funny, entertaining, simple.
CONS: Hit & miss plot/characters.
