A continuation of the DC Universe Original films Justice League Dark follows Batman (Jason O'Mara) who is investigating a string of murders connected with people going crazy. He finds out it has something to do with magic, so he enlists the help of John Constantine (Matt Ryan), Zatanna (Camilla Luddington) and Deadman (Nicholas Turturro).

Along the way they come across Jason Blood (Ray Chase) and the Swamp Thing (Roger Cross) who help them uncover the mystery of the crimes. Ok so first off the animation is well done and it's actually a pretty interesting story.

There's some pretty cool action and anybody who watched the canceled Constantine show will enjoy Matt Ryan voicing his character once again. Batman is almost underused here and not even necessary.

I get that they got him because they needed a "mainstream" hero that people would recognize and watch the movie, but man he makes very little sense in this one. The movie is also Rated R which is unnecessary.

I don't even recall a single shot that would warrant an R rating. Overall, it has a cool story to it, but there are a few things that hold it back (like why call it Justice League Dark if half the team is only in the film for a few minutes?).

Any DC Universe Original film fans will enjoy it though everyone else it'll probably just be a rent!
