Review of Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths (2010) by Dan Y — 03 Apr 2010
Entertaining, solid animated movie with the JL.
It uses the multiverse medium for a neat story in which a good Lex Luthor from a different earth travels to the JL's earth to request their help in the eradication of the Crime Syndicate, a criminal organization dominating his world through their illegal activities. The CS has its counterparts to the JL, such as their leader Ultraman who is their version of Superman, only eeeevil. Heh. My only complaint is that Batman was not voiced by the excellent Kevin Conroy, instead it was William Baldwin. His opposite, Owlman (who kept making me think Watchmen had made a crossover with the League) is voiced by James Woods, whose auditory portrayal of Mike Toreno in GTA: San Andreas is one of the more legendary supporting characters in that video game series.
Purdy good shtuff.
