Review of Justice League (2017) by Rorshach S — 24 Feb 2018
Ultimately, the origin stories, narrative threads, stylistic tones, even the graphics-nothing about Justice League quite comes together. The seams are definitely showing here, which is to be expected from a movie with trying to do so much.
Introduce three new major superheroes? Don't expect them to be anything more than paper thin. Hire a second director to finish where the first left off? Don't expect a coherent tone. Recruit a team and save the world in under two hours? Don't expect to care about anyone or see them grow at all.
Reshoot major swaths of the film after the actors have left the project and grown mustaches? Don't expect even the CGI to be able to save these heroes from this mess.
