Review of Justice League (2017) by Buddy B — 25 Feb 2018

Okay. I've given it 3 stars. It's definitely not Marvel, but they're trying. Man of Steel was a pretty good attempt to start the DCU, but fell short of being exciting. Batman vs Superman should have kicked the new franchise into high gear, but an idiotic story line lost me. The only thing that saved B vs S was a surprisingly good performance by Affleck as Batman.

Problem 1 with Justice League. They tried really hard to put the origin stories of Cyborg, Flash, and Aqua Man inside a single 2 hour movie. To me it was just disorganized and confusing. I think at least they should have done an Aqua Man and Flash movie first, throwing in some Cyborg back story. If I were a super Comic Nerd I would have known the back stories of everyone, but I'm not. If you want my 10 bucks, at least give me a better introduction to the Heros you want me to like.

Problem 2. And this is the conclusion since I only really had these 2 problems, but to me it's a big one, so I'll do it in all caps, because it bugs the crap out of me. YOU SPENT 300 MILLION DOLLARS ON A MOVIE BUT ONLY ABOUT 20 BUCKS TRYING TO FIX SUPERMAN'S MOUTH? Jeez Louise. I'm an amateur. But I feel like I could have done better with a flesh color Crayola crayon.
