Review of Justice League (2017) by Christopher Z — 07 May 2018
While DC's Justice League was an entertaining flick to watch at 1 am at night, it definitely had several flaws which could have easily been prevented. So much for surprising us if Superman was going to live, they put Henry Cavil's name in the opening sequence! Dunces.
And about the opening sequence, with the children filming Superman....talk about Super-lame! Barry Allen's (the flash) jokes had my buddy laughing out loud, however for me the most I got out of his jokes were a few chuckles and a sour taste in my mouth.
They tried too hard to make Barry Allen relatable with his ability to be a "snackhole" and eat a ton of pizza. Pizza, aha! Another aggravating factor was the fact that Batfleck just did not do it for me.
Batman is not the Christian Bale version. Cold and calculating? I think not, he went into his missions without a definite plan, and relied on his instinct, and kept getting his ass beat. Not the Batman I remember.
However, the movie did have redeeming qualities. Wonder Woman, aqua man , and cyborg were all done very well, and I enjoyed the characters powers and abilities. Gal gadot is so hot and I would let her freely play with my ***hole.
The movie was entertaining, and the fight scenes were pretty epic. What the hell was with that janitor? Very unnecessary and forced! Batman's lair is another plus for the movie, and there seems to be a lot of water that seeps into the bat cave (aqua man must love it!).
Overall, this movie is a 6.5/10, but I will not likely be watching it anytime soon or ever again! Thanks!
