Review of Justice League (2017) by Magnificentbish G — 31 May 2018
I'm a huge fan of DC, but honestly, WHAT WERE THEY THINKING? "A movie can only be as good as its villain." Thats an old saying, and its almost always true. I mean, who in the world even is Steppenwolf? They have this great villain named Darkseid.
But who should we use? Some new guy nobody knows and that nobody cares about. Also, it made me frustrated how Batman struggled to defeat one bug creature, when in reality, he's one of the most talented martial artists on the face of the earth.
Seemed like he was useless, and didn't come up with any brilliant plans. Plus, Cyborg was supposed to be funny but really wasn't, and Aquaman should be a super hardcore, deadly hero, but seemed like the blonde hair orange outfit surfer dude we're used to.
Wonder woman also wasn't as good as she was in her own movie. It really felt like the only good hero was the flash, who was actually funny. However, with all of this negativity from me, I am eager to see the second one, as long as they get a better villain.
