Let's be fair here people: the DCEU has it's problems. This movie is by no means as good as other DC films such as Batman (1989) or more recently Wonder Woman (2017), but it certainly isn't as forgettable and unlogical as Suicide Squad or BvS ("Save Martha" still makes me mad).

The movie is at it strongest when the league is united, at least to me. The interaction between the members provides light hearted humor Aquaman being central to this (as evident to the wonderfull scene in which he sits on Wonder Womans lasso of truth). Without this, the thin plot would not be able to hold up.

The CGI of Henry Cavills mustache certainly is laughably if not downright embarrassing. Steppenwolf, played by Ciaran Hinds, has to be the weakest characterof this movi,e if not in the entire DCEU, which is saying something (I'm looking at Jesse Eisenberg in BvS).

The DCEU may have taken a step back with this one, but it still has hope for progress in the near future. Can't wait to december.
