Review of Justice League (2017) by Brock G — 17 Jan 2018
This film got SUPERMAN right!!! He's happy & he's smiling, he's not ineffectual & cynical like how he was in Dawn Of Justice, he's back! Superman didn't smile in Superman Returns, was an arrogant prick in Man Of Steel, was too Dark & Depressing in Batman v Superman but Superman in Justice League is the best portrayal of the character since Christopher Reeve in The Quest For Peace. Cyborg & Aquaman were likable Characters, the Flash was charismatic & Gal Gadot gives another spectacular performance as Wonder Woman, just because Batman came up with that idea about the mother box & reviving Superman & Cybord didn't, isn't a big deal, as long as Batman is portrayed in an intelligent image, that what really counts. The interactions between the superheroes was electric. Steppenwolf was Trash, the Parademons were weak too. It's filled with Action for a short runtime. You can distinguish Whedon from Snyder but the Tone is it's tone isn't a distraction, some jokes were funny, the dialogue is good. It's about beating the bad guy to the punch, I just wish the superheroes didn't look stupid letting the trash villain get the box.
this was a Superhero movie & they saved a lot of people & did Hero like things, I remember playing an old Justice League game for the Xbox & watching the cartoon & this film captured the essence of the Justice League!
