The background stories for each character did a good job of supporting the overall theme of hope/positivity triumphing over despair. The discussion between Batman and Wonder Woman regarding their respective roles as champions of Hope was thoughtful and well delivered.

I could really have done without the Flash being presented as such a dork just for some cheap laughs but whatever! After reading the critics reviews I expected the worst but instead left the theatre happy and inspired .

... not bad for a fluff super hero movie.
