Review of Justice League (2017) by Ethanstapley — 15 Dec 2017
A bit of a mess. There's some fun to be had but not all the jokes and banter completely land. The CGI is downright rotten at times, incredible considering the money that was spent. The worst villain I have ever seen in a comic book movie, never once feels like a threat to the League.
The cast is quite charming together and Henry Cavill supplies his best work as Superman and makes me excited for a sequel to Man of Steel. Ultimately though the story is very lacking and there's no interesting action.
I'm curious to have seen the product had there not been extensive reshoots but hey. At least it goes by relatively quickly at 2 hours and the two credits scenes are really enjoyable and offer a glimmer of hope for the DCEU.
