Review of Justice League (2017) by Will E — 16 Dec 2017
While not bad by any means, Justice League is a decent movie at the least. The DCEU has its fair share of problems, such as disrespecting their main villains with horrible portrayals such as Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and Leto as Joker, so Justice League was supposed to be a movie that got people excited for what's to come.
Despite its poor opening, I thought Justice League did a great job of hyping me up for what's to come. The absence of Green Lantern is quite a disappointment, but the main cast play their parts very well.
The villain, Steppenwolf, was an effective starting villain for the league, though forgettable in the long run. I truly hope this isn't the end of the DCEU, because this movie was by no means horrible, and had various interesting parts that had be looking to the future with optimism.
